Tuition and fees:

• 7,900 euros for the Winter-Spring 2008 session
• 7,900 euros for the Fall 2008 session

This sum includes:

• room
• breakfasts and dinners in the host family
• laundry (one load per week)
• tuition
• program activities
• local excursions
• day trips
• Barcelona public transportation passes
• Student discount card
• use of a cell phone (The phone itself is provided, on loan. Participants pay for their own calls via a rechargeable chip.)
• insurance
• Transfers from Barcelona airport to Barcelona residence upon arrival
• lodging and daily food allowance along the Camino de Santiago
• Round trip transportation Barcelona-Santiago de Compostela-Barcelona

Not included:

• round-trip transportation USA-Barcelona-USA
• lunches while in Barcelona
• books and miscellaneous school supplies
• backpacks, sleeping bags and hiking equipment for the Camino de Santiago
• other personal expenses and leisure

Prices for flights to and from Spain are difficult to predict. Usually, however, the earlier one books, the better.

Participants should budget $850 for lunches, $65 for books and supplies and $600 for personal expenses.
